The Loveliest Public Bathroom in NYC
When it comes to finding a public restroom in Manhattan, there's one that always comes out on top: The restroom at the northeast corner of Bryant Park.
Architecturally, it's a tiny Beaux-Art jewel. The interior has high ceilings with crown moulding, marble sinks, a modern air-conditioning system, full-time attendants who keeps things spotlessly clean, and classical music playing to help you go.
You enter the building into a vestibule that features a huge vase full of fresh flowers, ladies to the left, gentlemen to the right.
The restroom handles as much as 4000 visitors a day during peak times. However, life being unfair, the line for the ladies can be 40 or more during those times.
