On this unique photo workshop, we'll be photographing in historic Annapolis, MD, starting from just before sunset and well into twilight.

Besides bring you to some of the most photogenic evening and nighttime scenes in Annapolis, I will demonstrate and help you with topics and techniques including

• How to properly use your digital camera on a tripod to make the best use of your camera’s and lens’ features (it’s different than back in the film days!)

• How to deal with evening and nighttime lighting extremes by taking multiple photos on tripod, merging them in Lightroom, and editing to create a professional-looking image (HDR photography.)

• Hands-on instruction and critique of images and their composition while they are being taken, so that you can make corrections immediately.

I’m limiting the number of people who can attend, so that I can spend time with each of you to help with anything you need in getting really compelling images of the sites that we visit along the way. That can range from basic photo or camera help to assistance with composition and advanced techniques, as well as tripod technique.

Also, as an added value, you'll be able to send me your photos (or links to them) from this workshop for evaluation and feedback. I'll make comments and suggestions, and in many cases, do some photo editing on your photos to demonstrate how to make a good image even better.

This workshop is for ALL skill levels, including beginners - we will show you everything you need to know to make compelling images as we walk around beautiful downtown Annapolis. You'll be sure to end up with some amazing images that you'll be proud to hang on your wall.
