Shooting with RAW format is the best way to capture any scene, but straight out of your camera, RAW images will often look like the top photo at left. It’s frustrating, because in real life, the scene was much livelier, with detail in the trees and blue sky with clouds.
There is a lot of hidden information, however, in that RAW file, and with Lightroom, you can transform your image to reveal what’s truly there, like the photo at bottom left.
Starting from an assumption of no knowledge of Lightroom, by the end of the weekend, Steve will take you through all the underlying concepts, tools, and workflow that you will need in order to bring out the very best in your images.
