We'll tour and photograph the grounds and selected buildings of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. You’ll see some of the best photo locations and angles in "The Yard," as the campus of the Naval Academy is known to its Midshipmen. At the same time, we’ll also give you a running commentary on the history of the Naval Academy and the architectural significance of the buildings you'll visit.
Also, as an added value, you'll be able to send us your photos (or links to them) from this workshop for evaluation and feedback. I'll make comments and suggestions, and in many cases, do some photo editing on your photos to demonstrate how to make a good image even better.
If are new to photography or could use a refresher on topics like f-stops, depth of field, basic composition, etc, I will conduct an optional, free pre-tour session on those topics 45 minutes before we start the tour for anyone registered.
